Devote to Homeland Culture Development Center is a non-profit organization jointly launched by The Center for Rural Reconstruction at Renmin University of China and other institutions. It was formerly known as the “Devote to Homeland Program”, which was launched in 2012 to protect local culture to build beautiful cities and villages. Conceived in the diversified practices of new rural reconstruction in China, the Center aims to discover the beauty of homeland, to revalue countryside, to activate and inherit local cultures, and to promote rural civilization. By integrating local resources, the Center also seeks to build a platform for the public to participate in the construction of beautiful villages, to reshape country’s vitality and charm, to promote the sustainable development of Chinese urban and rural society, and to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
